On the occasion of Jean-Michel Jarre's birthday, Francis Rimbert has chosen to share his personal video archives with us.
These are small video montages that he tweaked at the time of their collaboration and which contain some cult moments!
I always had with me a small more or less powerful camera, and with my sense of derision, a more or less humorous look at all these years with this musician from Lyon. So I had fun realizing my personal vision of our world tours. It sometimes bordered on the irreverent and my "colleagues" on stage sometimes found that I pushed the cork a little too far! But when I see these little edits again, I don't regret anything because there is also the gaze of a musician behind a big star.

The first episode of this series is devoted to "Europe in Concert" with rehearsals in Croissy, Villacoublay and excerpts from various locations on the tour.
This video was made during the VHS era, so the picture isn't perfect, but they're still great memories. By following the technical evolution of Francis' cameras, the quality will improve over the episodes.
