For this third part of our series 12 glances towards the sky, with Immersive Adventure in the company of Albert Pla we will see how the apprehension of the sky has evolved, we started from the contemplative gaze to the gaze of a surveyor.
With the epistemological look, it is the evolution of the sciences that will guide us.
The planetariums are 100 years old, The song from Genesis that we will hear in the intro “Dance on the Volcano” is well adapted, we are going to dance on a volcano in Vulcania with the largest planetarium in France, imminent eruption, we will be with Julien Malaval, scientific officer at Vulcania.

Planing and progressive the music of Visions Nocturnes.
When blues truckers invent a progressive rock band for us, it gives us the Random Earth Project, especially when they invite Amanda Lehmann, a regular on the show, singer and guitarist for Steve Hackett.
Random Earth Project bassist Trev Turley will be with us exclusively.
When science meets the sky, welcome to Visions Nocturnes.

12 gazes towards the sky, 3 “the epistemological gaze”
Human beings have needed to form an overall idea of the world in which they live.
In ancient times, the sky seemed to them as inaccessible as it was inexorably immutable.
The sky was divine, the sky aroused fears and anxieties. From Egyptian, Greek gods to a monotheistic configuration or with a great architect of the Universe, the sky was sacred. Then came scientific thought, observation, study, analysis.
Just over 400 years ago, a low magnification optical tube unlocked its secrets and expanded our universe. The progressive understanding of nature and the laws that govern it led us to the scientific revolution of the modern era, then to relativity and quantum physics in the contemporary world.
