Free electronic music concerts in Saleilles.

Electronic music: a musical genre that many believe to be recent and associate only with DJs, but which already has almost 100 years of history!

It was to pay tribute to the pioneers of electronic music that Radio Equinoxe was created in 2001. This web-radio, listened to all over the world, was first dedicated to Jean-Michel Jarre, quickly joined in the programming by Other mythical names: Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Shulze, Vangelis, Space, Wendy Carlos, and many others… Radio Equinoxe also offers its listeners the opportunity to share their own tracks. Thus, young composers can benefit from a platform and thus make themselves known internationally.

After receiving Dominique Perrier and his group Space Art in 2012, then having organized a first concert in 2016 at the Saint Julien chapel in Villeneuve de la Raho, Radio Equinoxe created the Radio Equinoxe Version Live festival in 2019. Two free, open-air concerts, where two of the most popular artists on its lineup will perform live, surrounded by many analog and digital instruments retracing the history of electronic music, in a show combining sound, lights and pyrotechnics. Appointment is therefore made for the Wednesday 14 August from 21:30 p.m. on the Place Albert Pouquet in Saleilles.

Glenn Main, will come especially from Norway to pay tribute to Jean-Michel Jarre by playing the greatest hits of the Lyonnais musician. He will also present some unreleased excerpts from his next album.

The French Bastien Lartigue, whose songs regularly rise to the top of the ranking of favorite songs of Radio Equinoxe listeners, will offer a magical musical journey, in a multimedia concert-show combining several auditory and visual techniques.
